The Halo 5 Resurgence Series is a thrilling saga of
competitive gaming events tailored to elevate the
skills of Halo 5 players through four Open tournaments,
leading to an epic Championship event. This series
focuses on the journey of players through a season
where strategy, teamwork, and adaptability are key,
all measured through a detailed points system.

Resurgence Points System:

1st Place: 25,000 points
2nd Place: 15,000 points
3rd Place: 11,000 points
4th Place: 9,000 points
5th - 6th Place: 8,000 points
7th - 8th Place: 7,000 points
9th - 12th Place: 5,500 points
13th - 16th Place: 4,500 points
17th - 24th Place: 3,000 points
25th - 32nd Place: 2,000 points
33rd - 40th Place: 1,600 points
41st - 48th Place: 1,400 points
49th - 64th Place: 1,000 points

Players engage in four Open events, where each event includes a player draft to form new teams, promoting a dynamic and ever-changing competitive landscape. All events will utilize HCS Competitive maps and modes, ensuring that each match tests not only skill but also knowledge of the game's meta.

Points are tallied individually over the course of all Open events, with the top 16 players, forming 4 teams, qualifying for the Championship. There's a potential for expansion to up to 8 teams (32 players) based on the turnout at the Open events.

The Championship event stands as the ultimate challenge, where players draft into teams once more for the final competition. This event is designed to combine the best elements of the HCS Competitive format, pushing players to their limits in terms of strategy, execution, and adaptability.
